The Athletic program of Indiana Christian Academy is one of the many facets of student life that helps round out a person in the areas of physical growth, mental focus, social interaction, and spiritual encouragement. The influence of godly coaches in an athlete’s life can be a tremendous encouragement and blessing to ICA families. We work to make the athletic program fertile soil to cultivate the balance of determination and humility, intensity and submission, individual effort and selfless teamwork, athletic goals and spiritual aspirations. During the heat of competition, the true character of the participants and the spectators is often revealed. It is the goal of ICA that Christ will be magnified in all aspects of the athletic program.
Our games are played under the guidelines of the National Federation Rules. In addition we also follow the specific rules of the Indiana Association of Christian Schools (IACS) and Central Indiana Christian Conference (CICC).
Fall Sports Schedule
Each fall, we have several sports teams that compete in Soccer and Volleyball. Please come visit us for one of our games. The cost is $4.00 for adults and $3.00 for students. A family pass is $12.00.

Athletic Facilities
The Lord has blessed Indiana Christian Academy with excellent facilities for practices and games. The gymnasium features a college length floor allowing for two full volleyball courts and two complete basketball courts for practice. With 10 rows of bleachers on each side of the court, ICA is able to host the largest state tournaments and seats over 800. The adjacent kitchen and stage area accommodate an ideal concession area in view of the action.
Over the last 10 years, ICA has developed one of the nicest soccer fields in the conference. The wonderful stand of grass, accompanied by an electronic scoreboard and bleacher seating, makes this field a wonderful place to watch elementary, junior high, and varsity soccer games. The physical education department also makes use of the field during the school day.
Sports Physicals
All students involved in the ICA athletic program must have an athletic physical before practice begins in that particular sport.
A sports exam is only valid for one year from date of exam.
The sports exam must be on an IHSAA Pre-Participation Physical Evaluation form, signed, and dated by the attending physician. We cannot accept a doctor’s note or statement of exam.
Each parent or guardian of an athlete must also sign the appropriate Consent and Release form below and return it to the Academy office.
